ELECTRONICS RECYCLING CENTER

| On July 5, 2004, the City of St. Marys became one of the first municipalities in the State of Pennsylvania to mandate electronics recycling. Residents of St. Marys and Elk County can recycle their electronics free of charge due to a wonderful program set up by the Elk County Recycling Office. | |
| The Elk County Electronics Center is located in the Stackpole Complex in St. Marys and is open the third Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. | |

| The Elk County Electronics Center is now accepting batteries, fluorescent lamps and smoke detectors free of charge for residents. There is a small fee for businesses. Businesses can contact the Elk County Recycling Office at 776-5373 for additional information | |
