Elk County Electronics Recycling Center



On July 5, 2004 the City of Saint Marys became one
of the first municipalities in the State of Pennsylvania to mandate Electronics Recycling.
Residents of Saint Marys and Elk County can recycle
their electronics free of charge due to a wonderful program set up by the Elk County
Recycling Office.
The Elk County Electronics Center is located in the
Stackpole Complex in Saint Marys and is open the third Saturday of every month from 9:00
am to 1:00 pm.

Center:

Copiers
Duplicators
DVD Players
Electric Typewriters
Fax Machines
Hard Drives
Laptops
Mainframe Computers
Cell Phones
Modems
Microwave Ovens
Pagers
Personal Computers
(Including CPU, Monitor, Keyboards, Mouse and
Peripherals)
Printers
Printed Circuit Boards
Radios
Remote Controls
Stereos
Tape Players
Telephones and Telephone Equipment
Televisions
Testing Equipment
Transparency Makers
Uninterruptible Power Supplies
VCRs
The Elk County Electronics Center is now accepting
batteries, fluorescent lamps and smoke detectors free of charge for residents. There is a small fee for businesses. Businesses can contact the Elk County Recycling
Office at 776-5373 for additional information.
Again, the Elk County Electronics Center is open the
third Saturday of every month, weather permitting, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
