Compost Site

Not only does the City of St. Marys have a Curbside Recycling Program to offer its’ residents, we also have a compost site. The compost site is located at Woodbed Company off Wilson Road. Residents have the opportunity to dispose of their yard waste materials seven days a week during daylight hours. The following items are acceptable:

Grass

Leaves

Trees – Up to 8” in diameter

Bushes

Plants

Garden Residue

Chipped Shrubbery

Tree Trimmings

After the holiday season, residents can dispose of their Christmas trees at Woodbed as well as long as the trees are cleaned of their ornaments, tinsel, decorations, etc. If you have any questions concerning the Compost Site please call Woodbed Company at 834-1464.
