- The Community Education Council coordinates education and training opportunities for
adults in Elk and Cameron Counties.

- The Council is a resource center for credit and non-credit courses, basic and advanced
skills training, seminars and workshops.

- The CEC works closely with institutions of higher education to encourage them to provide
programs and services in our area.

- The CEC works with students and prospective students to examine programs and identify
educational opportunities which best suit their needs.
