Airport Authority

Responsibilities and functions of the St. Marys Municipal Airport Authority
a.	Solicits and administers state capital grants for the St. Marys Municipal Airport. These grants are used for improvements, additions, and renovations made to the airport.
b.	Oversees and reports on airport operations to City Council.
c.	Meets with local and state representatives to discuss further legislation that impacts Pennsylvania airports at large and the St. Marys Municipal Airport in particular.
d.	Works toward promoting the St. Marys Municipal Airport as a valuable asset to local and area businesses.
e.	Works with PennDOT Bureau of Aviation toward promoting and effecting positive economic impact of the St. Marys Municipal Airport on the City of St. Marys and Elk County.
